calendars?

I've heard that the Etruscan week was nine days long and that they had a 360-day year (10 months?). Can anyone confirm or deny this for me? Is there any relation to the Egyptian 360-day system? I'm sure it differs, but I'm tempted to draw an allegory...even if it turns out to be out on a limb.

"The very first english translaton of the Etruscan Brontoscopic Calendar (which guided priests in making divinations)", will be out in print in a few months...in the book:
    "The Religion of the Etruscans"
by Nancy Thomson de Grummond (Editor), Erika Simon (Editor)'
    ISBN: 0292706871

I have no idea where the Italian version is but if someone knows please post it here.

de Grummond and Simon's is possibly the most scholarly review of Etruacan religious practice yet, but not out yet - as far as can tell.

yes - the week was nine days long - the nundinum.
Once i get more into the calender stuff I'll be able to give more details. Still only learning the language.

I wish I could be of assistance but it seems that every single online scholarly detail belongs to www.jstor.org or one of its associated libraries...and it seems to me that Meka would be the expert here.
I'm just barely digging up information on my forebears from the Chieti province. (Geneology is tough in its own way, but I'm getting off subject here.) I was hoping maybe that would be a route to finding more sources, but it doesn't seem too promising at the moment. I don't think I'm looking in the right places. Does anyone else subscribe to Archeology Magazine? I know they've had a few articles on things Etruscan, perhaps we could dig through their archives?
