Some forums have 'people' talking and discussing the idea that apparently Etruscan temples excavated by archaeologists in ITALIA, have found in the region of ETRURIA, temple rock carvings showing the ARCTURUS STAR SYSTEM in the Bootes Constellation and the Etruscans seemed to have held a powerful respect and reverence for ARCTURUS, which was a minor deity, and was seen by the Etruscans as a symbol of their own "spiritual values".
NO ONE really knows where the Etruscans actually from. People say they were HURRIANS, they were GREEKS or HITTITES. But they looked nothing like these peoples, who were ARYAN historically that far back in history. So jokingly (SLIGHT HUMOUR) - perhaps the ETRUSCANS originated from ARCTURUS - perhaps they were "aliens", LOL!!!!
Seriously though, ALL knowledge concerning any connections between ETRUSCANS, ETRURIA and ARCTURUS seem to be heavily edited and censored on the Internet. Does anyone here know of such connections - either religious, spiritual, cultural or historical????

Tue, September 25, 2007 - 3:06 PMalot of the "historical" knowledge of the etruscans is overshadowed bythe heavy roman and grrel remains of the time. an interesting read is "Etruscan Roman Remains"by Charles Leland. it is now out of print but can be found at sacred-texts.com It is folk magick and ritual Leland gleaned from italian peasantry during the Victorian era and they say that their practises came down through family lines from the Etruscans. the information is sort of early ethnography and an intersting read though heavily dated and sometimes fishy.
as far as accepted "archaeological" data goes, most etruscan information is viewed through the eyes of the greek traders and such of the late bronze/early iron age. they speak of the "orientalizing" of the etruscan style when they begin regular contact w/ the meditt. and levant. Academic circles tend to gloss over and ignore the informatio they lack rather than search for it. so you will not find much on any of those topics since they are "unknown" mostly in academic circles. -

WOW! - your knowledge of the ETRUSCANS and the ELLINIKO DEMOS, is amazing and powerful!!!!
The Etruscans are so amazing to study as they simply "appeared" out of nowhere and their language was very, very ancient.
MOST frescoes show them being an olive skinned, or light brown skinned, black haired and brown eyed "racial" group.
I DO NOT believe in the works wholesale of people like ERICH VON DANIKEN, about the "Gods" from Heaven, but the ETRUSCANS seem very much like a group that just appeared as if they literally "landed" on this planet and then began their civilization.
The GREEK connection makes a lot of sense, as ARCTURUS was mentioned in myths and stories concerning ZEUS OLIMBOS, and was deemed as an IMPORTANT star (Bootes Constellation).
I wish i could remember the website where there were ITALIANS discussing Etruscan temples that had been excavated in ETRURIA in Italia, where rock carvings showed the Arcturus Star System and various tools and implements used by the Etruscans in their own "Astronomia".
Perhaps the VATICAN "censored" those archaeological remains because apparently the VATICAN has censored many, many such anomalous artifacts according to many researchers. NOT just the Vatican but universities and governments as well.
Remember the book "FORBIDDEN ARCHEOLOGY" by MICHAEL J. CREMO and his other book "THE HIDDEN HISTORY OF THE HUMAN RACE".
I will look into the Sacred Texts book you mentioned Anie. -
